Job Overview

As a Data & AI Expert with a focus on generative AI, data strategy, and business analytics, you will be instrumental in accelerating AI adoption and implementation for our clients. You will help organisations identify AI opportunities, design roadmaps, and guide them in deploying AI solutions that generate business impact. A significant part of your role will involve working with generative AI technologies, LLMs, and platforms such as OpenAI, Copilot, Claude, and Perplexity, as well as addressing data visualisation, storytelling, and ethical considerations.

You will not only design and deliver tailored AI programs but also coordinate a community of external freelancers to support live learning sessions, ensuring that we stay at the cutting edge of AI knowledge. Additionally, you will help clients implement data strategies that align with privacy and ethics standards.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & AI Roadmaps

1. - Facilitate AI discovery workshops and assessments to help clients identify AI opportunities.
  - Educate clients on AI maturity models and guide them in designing roadmaps that prioritize use cases based on business impact and compliance requirements, including the EU AI Act.
  - Translate client business problems into scalable AI frameworks (using generative AI, LLMs, and data analytics) that clients can implement independently after learning from your teachings.
  - Provide consultative support, working with technical experts to ensure alignment between AI concepts and clients’ business needs and challenges.

AI Solutions & Learning Delivery

1. - Customize and deliver educational programs on generative AI, showcasing practical use cases and applications using tools like OpenAI, Claude, Copilot, and similar platforms.
  - Develop and facilitate interactive AI workshops, expert hours, and educational sessions, empowering clients to understand and apply AI concepts in their operations.
  - Offer strategic advice on ethical AI use, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, particularly within the context of the EU AI Act.

Data Strategy, Ethics & Privacy

1. - Counsel organisations on building robust data strategies, emphasising the importance of data governance, ethics, and privacy.
  - Integrate educational modules on core data tasks, including business analytics, visualisation, and data storytelling, to help clients drive better decision-making and insights.
  - Guide clients in developing ethical AI frameworks that address key issues such as bias, fairness, and transparency.

Freelancer Onboarding & Community Building

1. - Onboard and manage a network of external freelance experts to support in delivering live AI content, workshops, and expert sessions.
  - Foster a community of AI thought leaders and professionals who contribute to keeping Growth Tribe’s AI portfolio innovative and up to date.
  - Coordinate freelancers to ensure smooth and high-quality delivery of live sessions, providing ongoing support and development to external contributors.

Impact Measurement & Knowledge Sharing

- Measure and report on the business impact of AI and data initiatives, showcasing how AI has transformed business processes and outcomes
- Stay on top of advancements in AI, data science, and generative AI, sharing insights internally and with clients to ensure continuous innovation.
- Contribute to Growth Tribe’s thought leadership through blog posts, white papers, and industry events.

Job requirements

Experience & Skills
- Strong experience in data science, AI, or business analytics roles, with a strong focus on generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Experience translating business challenges into AI solutions, designing AI roadmaps, and defining use cases that align with organizational goals.
- Familiarity with AI platforms and tools such as OpenAI (GPT models), Claude, Copilot, and other generative AI systems.
- Strong experience in data visualization, storytelling, and business analytics, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Expertise in AI ethics, data privacy, and data strategy, with a solid understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science are advantageous.
Personal Attributes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about AI’s role in business transformation.
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative and able to build relationships with both clients and external freelancers.
Technical Skills
- Some hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL used in AI and data science.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and AI platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face).
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), and experience building AI agents that leverage platforms like OpenAI (GPT models), Copilot, Claude, and Perplexity for real-world business solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying AI and data solutions.

Knowledge of MLOps, natural language processing (NLP), and AI ethics frameworks.
